“There wouldn’t be any successful products without good stories.”
— Florian Goos, owner

Markets are usually governed by country-specific circumstances. This applies particularly to the German furniture industry. With over fifteen years of experience in this market, we are not only thoroughly familiar with this industry sector but also have excellent connections both on the company as well as on the industry association side. We always attend all of the relevant trade fairs and events to keep up to date with what's happening – and as trend scouts, we also have a good look at the latest developments.

Our personal interzum-GOOS-Guide

Brief: interzum is "the place to be" when it comes to innovations and trends in the furniture sector. In our personal interzum-GOOS-Guide we show you where you should have been in any case

Every two years in Cologne, over 1,700 suppliers from over 60 countries present their products, which will find their way into the furniture of the future in the coming months and years. In just four days, furniture manufacturers, craftsmen, retail managers, architects, interior designers, interior decorators, designers and, of course, the media will gather information about the latest furniture components. It goes without saying that only a fraction of the exhibitors can be visited personally in the short time available. With our interzum guide, we present the highlights of the companies we support, show where you can find them and who is the contact person for press enquiries. You won't lose any valuable time on site and will receive comprehensive support. In addition, the guide shows who from the GOOS team is on site, when and where. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions about the trade fair or the furniture and furnishing industry in general. And of course, we would be delighted if you would take the opportunity to visit us if we have not yet met in person. With this in mind: See you at interzum!

HUB festival: Interprint shakes up the industry

Brief: Strategic advice on all communications associated with the festival, development of accompanying media in collaboration with the client, support creation, text development from the invitations to the presentations and discussion guideline for the festival, as well as reporting on the event afterwards.

After ten years of the Interprint Furniture Days, the innovative decor printing company dared to take a completely new step in 2018 and decided to host the HUB festival. Under the motto "Everyone contributes, everyone receives, everyone profits", more than 600 furniture manufacturers, product developers, designers, architects and many other interiors industry creatives gathered in the SANAA building in Essen on 14 and 15 November 2018 to discuss future interiors with the Interprint design team. The interdisciplinary approach and the casual festival atmosphere, with a mix of presentations, workshops, food trucks and after-work partying, appealed to the journalists, guests and festival partners Technocell, Hornschuch, Rehau, Hueck, Sesa, MKT and arcade. The festival was captured on camera and in videos which were then shared via the social media.

Market launch PaveAndGo

Brief: Development of a communication strategy to advertise the unique new product PaveAndGo by Emil Germany in the trade media and to also bring Emil Germany to the attention of garden designers and landscape architects.

Hamburg-based Emil Germany is the German distribution company of the Italian EmilGroup and was established in 2016. The subsidiary specialises in high-quality outdoor ceramic porcelain products. The company's latest 2018 range consists of the four collections K-Out, Lignea, Urban and Rainbow. It also sells a unique new product called PaveAndGo. So far, Emil Germany's advertising had only addressed retailers. Challenge: the company now intended to advertise its products to garden designers and landscape architects.

A campaign across all of the target group specific media was developed that explained the PaveAndGo product and all of its advantages. On the press side, a press breakfast was hosted at the GaLaBau industry trade fair, where full support (preview, press kit, review) was offered. New topics were continuously communicated to the press. The target media were carefully analysed and selected with the aim of individual collaborations/close cooperation with the appropriate media. In addition, the campaign was continued online. Suitable architecture platforms and garden designer/ landscape architecture media were taken into account. On the media side, company profiles, advertisements and banners were published that picked up topics from the overall communication concept. The communication was intensified in the run-up to the GaLaBau trade fair, where the company had a stand. One result of the combination of a high-quality product and our targeted communication work was the GaLaBau innovation medal which Emil Germany was awarded at the trade fair. In addition, Emil Germany was also present in the selected media with its products - especially with its highlight product PaveAndGo. In this way, we increased the German market's awareness of Emil Germany and advertised the launch of the innovate new product PaveAndGo.

Trade fair support on the REHAU social media channels

Brief: Advice on and realisation of a concept to position REHAU as an innovative company and attractive employers on the social media channels within the scope of Gamescom 2018.

The trade fair stand motto of REHAU, the leading system and service provider for polymer-based solutions, at Gamescom was #bepartofourteam. REHAU wanted to present itself as an attractive and innovative employer at the world's biggest computer and video game trade fair and establish contact with tomorrow's potential employees.

An editorial concept as well as a schedule for the five-day trade fair were developed before the start of the trade fair. Besides posts intended for publication of the channels Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, the decision was made to also accompany the trade fair throughout its duration with Facebook stories. The material was reworked for this purpose in order to also tell a story about the fair, the team and the Gamescom experience every day during the trade fair via the Facebook story feature. The highlight was an event at the REHAU trade fair stand on the last day of the fair which was accompanied by the REHAU trade fair team via Facebook's live feature together with posts and stories on Facebook and posts on Twitter. The result was that REHAU continuously accompanied the trade fair with its social media posts through these measures. The company communicated with its target group in a suitable way and managed to present itself as an innovative and attractive employer.
