Interprint at Arena Design in Poland

The transformation of design

The only place where the definition of design may be questioned is the meeting place of people who shape design on a daily basis. They meet at the Arena Design event in Poznan, Poland: The designers and architects, the creative minds and the young talents of the design sector. Interprint Poland participated for the fourth time in a row.

Inspiring encounters

This year's motto of the most important Polish design event that took place from 12 to 15 March was TransFormations: Design transformation in a social and technological ecosystem. The exciting question: How is this metamorphosis reflected in development processes?

About 22,000 visitors could get convincing answers from the exhibiting companies. Within the scope of a joint trade fair concept with Meble Polska and Home Decor, 400 exhibitors from 60 countries showcased surprising innovations and inspiring solutions on more than 62,000 sqm.

Interprint relaunches trends

Interprint presented a stand that gave new ideas by being a design object in itself. Platforms for specific trend topics were created by using big tubes that are normally used for rolling up decorative paper. For example, the 'Colours' area presented the latest colour trends as XELIO finish foil range which is produced at Interprint's location in Poland. The 'Textile' area covered fabrics like linen and denim. The 'Augmented Reality' and '3D' implementations also delighted the visitors – especially in combination with a high ecological standard that was visualised with the aid of wood looks, luxuriant plants and flower arrangements.

Already a classic: *TSFKASP Collection

Interprint Poland notably took up the exhibition topic with the highlight of the exhibition stand, the *TSFKASP Collection.  The abbreviation stands for "*The selection formerly known as Six Pack", and therefore no less than the company's focus on a few but sustainably successful design trends.

Sustainable design meets modern requirements

Further developing existing designs by adding new colour variants fully complies with the sustainable idea of TransFormation. How this Golden Thread runs through the entire production chain could be seen on the stands of the furniture manufacturers who transform their design trends with Interprint's decorative paper into international classics.

"This year's motto of the Arena Design event further convinced us to pursue our philosophy of attentiveness – as we undoubtedly do with the *TSFKASP Collection. We thus not only initiate a trend that gives new innovative ideas but also remember our strengths and the available resources around us," said Sylwia Lasota, Sales and Marketing Manager at Interprint Polska.
