Interprint: ZOW 2020

Interprint attends ZOW 2020 in Bad Salzuflen

188 exhibitors showed off their latest ideas for the interiors of the future at the industry trade fair for furniture and interior design sectors - ZOW - from 4 to 6 February. And Arnsberg-based Interprint was one of them. This decor printer’s one ambition was to consolidate the position of East-Westphalia as hub of the furniture industry, moving it into the spotlight.

And there was plenty for the 4,000 or so visitors to see at the ground. You could hardly miss the Interprint stand right in the middle of the hall, featuring the first decor “collection” that isn’t actually a collection at all: Interprint introduced its “Evolving Decor Playlist” under the “PRESS PLAY” banner to a wider public for the first time. The guys from Arnsberg recently decided to break away from the traditional collection concept, daring to do something totally new. In tune with the latest social trend for streaming, they are offering an ever-expanding playlist.

Sounds exciting: “PRESS PLAY”

Times have changed,” explained Interprint’s Director of Marketing & Design, Salvatore Figliuzzi. “Bringing out a collection once a year and setting a mega-trend is so old school. Endless feeds, streaming services and Spotify – we consume differently, faster and continuously now. The constant flow of news and stories updates us about new trends popping up and microtrends forming all the time. PRESS PLAY is our response to that”.

So, PRESS PLAY is in constant motion, enabling Interprint to use its decor playlist to react to new trends as they happen. On that note: an actual playlist to go with the decors is available on Spotify at PRESS PLAY | 01 2020. It’s worth a listen. Visitors were able go to the Interprint stand and see for themselves how quickly a new trend can pop up. They could design their “own” decor with the Interprint Decor Creator. And bring the decor designers’ message to life: trends come and go, ideas weave in and out of each other and new vogues appear. Everywhere. All the time.

New poducts for the portfolio

A susbsidiary of the Japanese Toppan Group, Interprint introduced its new portfolio for the first time alongside the parent company, adding two intriguing Toppan products – G-Effect and Fortina – to the range.

Stunning: Beyond Metal

Specialising in printing mother of pearl and metal effects, Interprint worked with the designer Udo Tünte to reach a new level: the new Beyond Metal product wowed visitors to ZOW 2020 with the aesthetic advantages of using real metal.

New decors and products for new ideas: once again, Interprint the industry pace-setter stunned everyone with its inspirational new ideas.
