A new colour and several additional models for the most sustainable sink range from SCHOCK

In the CRISTADUR® Green Line, the innovative company has developed a material that is ~99% based on natural, renewable or recycled raw materials. SCHOCK is now unveiling a range of new products ahead of area30: Twilight is a new colour which joins the two other available shades, Night and Day. An exceptional shade of taupe, Twilight brings the interior design trends of nude and minimalism into the kitchen – and will be available for all Green Line models. SCHOCK is also set to win new fans with an expansion of the Green Line: All models in the popular Mono range except Mono D-200 will also be available in this material finish. With these innovations, SCHOCK is demonstrating one thing very clearly – the path to a sustainable future is neither monotone nor boring. Quite the opposite: SCHOCK’s path is colourful, stylish and always a little bit different.

Toledo: Entry-level access to the premium world of CRISTADUR®

The Toledo range sees SCHOCK start a new chapter in the story of the premium CRISTADUR® material. Encompassing five models – from one of the most space-saving models in the SCHOCK range to a double bowl sink with drainboard – Toledo offers entry-level access to the world of the premium, silky-smooth matt finish to suit a wide range of customer needs. The classic design with an all-round rim and grooves in the draining board keeps water and dirt contained within the sink area. Featuring the CRISTADUR® dirt repellent effect, this range is by nature extremely easy to clean. Designed for efficiency, the range offers maximum flexibility: Available with different standard dimensions, bowl sizes and draining boards, the sinks are suitable for inset or undermount installation in a range of base cabinets – either 45 cm, 50 cm, 60 cm or 80 cm wide, depending on the model. Eight intense colours also make the line-up a real visual highlight in the kitchen.

Tia D-100LS: The convenient food prep centre for small kitchens

Over the past several years, the sink has increasingly become a multifunctional food prep location. SCHOCK has already incorporated corresponding functions and accessories into several models. This year, the company is unveiling the Tia D-100LS, a consistent extension of this model line and the firm’s range of sinks designed with a useful lip for hanging accessories in the bowl. The idea of the kitchen sink as a food prep centre is as simple as it is captivating: In the same place as you wash the vegetables or alternative ingredients, SCHOCK makes use of smart accessories that may be purchased separately to enable the ingredients to be further prepped, with chopping boards, trays and colanders available to save cooks both time and effort. The perfect food prep station for the smaller kitchen, Tia D-100LS is now being presented at area30. Tia D-100LS cuts a convincing figure, boasting a compact linear form with sophisticated functionality. The large bowl combined with space-saving draining board provides plenty of room for washing up – great for when there’s no dishwasher. Black in black: Flush-mount sinks and mixer taps in matt black

The latest interior design trends feature matt black very strongly. Metal finishes and particular types of wood, alongside quartz composite sinks, allow design enthusiasts to create individual room concepts with innovative, low-reflection finishes by setting accents that are bold yet timeless. Matt black is enjoying a rise in popularity, especially in minimalist kitchens with industrial design influences. Understated yet eye-catching, matt black products can also be teamed with a wide array of colours and finishes, making them particularly popular for creating individual kitchen designs. And of course, SCHOCK carries a suitable range of kitchen sinks and mixer taps. The flush-mount sink is a growing design trend. This installation variant not only creates a smooth transition between worktop and sink, it also delivers a real wow in terms of kitchen design. SCHOCK enables this genuine eye-catcher to be accentuated even further by offering different shades of black, including Puro, a shade of matt black. The sink manufacturer thus gives distributors the chance to offer end customers two current trends, flush-mount and matt black, in one product. And the overall look is perfected with sink trim also finished in Puro. To go with the kitchen sinks, SCHOCK has been offering high-end mixer taps for over 20 years. A number of new additions have been introduced in time for area30: Altos, Altos S, Epos, Kavus, Keto and Vitus are now available in full-colour black finish – to team perfectly with a matt black sink. For those who wish to opt for other colours besides black for an individual and uniform look in harmony or in contrast with the sink, SCHOCK is also expanding its selection of mixer taps in PVD finishes: The Keto model is additionally available in White Gold, Copper and Gunmetal and, with matching sink trim, can likewise be matched to the choice of accessories, handles or finishes in the kitchen.

Three accessory updates round off the package of new products for area30: SCHOCK will be using wood instead of glass for the chopping boards in future. Various sink models can be equipped with additional accessories on request to emphasise the food prep concept in and around the sink.
