REHAU: Design with different surface materials in perfect colour harmony

Living space in cities is becoming increasingly tighter and more expensive. This presents new challenges for interior design. Because the aim now is to create residential units that are not only functional but also tailored to the individual and of high quality.  There is a demand for spatial and furniture concepts in colour match that make rooms appear bigger than they actually are.

The human eye is very sensitive to nuances in colours. Plain colours, in particular, that are very similar yet not harmonious are not very pleasant on the eye. That is why polymer specialist REHAU is offering its partners surface collections in colour match and decors that perfectly complement one another. The absolute colour match of horizontal and vertical surfaces is new to the material mix. Complementing the existing decors Bianco, Sabbia, Menta and Fumo from the glass laminate RAUVISIO crystal, REHAU has also matched these four shades for its mineral material RAUVISIO mineral I Hanex Solid Surfaces. This allows, for example, front panels, worktops and moulded parts to be optically manufactured from a single cast. The colour match of the two surface materials produces calming compositions but with different gloss levels and depth effects. This provides architects with precisely the room they need for all-round design concepts, right up to communication design at the highest level.

If another plain colour is chosen from the RAUVISIO mineral materials collection, then this requested colour can also be included by REHAU. The polymer specialist has added all universal non-standard colours to its glass laminate with RAUVISIO crystal vario. From a minimum order of 20 panels, any shade can be matched, for example on the basis of RAL shades, in high gloss or matt.
