Haier media event 2021

It is well known in the industry that Haier is aiming high in Europe. With a large media event, the company wanted to inform the German press about progress and innovations at Haier - and thus remain in personal contact with media representatives despite the cancellation of the most important trade fair for electronic appliances. We organised the event in Munich.

On 15th September 2021, the Haier Media Event 2021 took place in the large Armorial Hall (Wappenhalle) of the former Munich-Riem airport. For the world's No. 1 in the household appliance market, there were several communication occasions at the same time: The event was the "inauguration ceremony" for the new office in Munich, where the two offices in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt am Main had previously moved to. The company's gratifying business development was also a topic. And beyond that, the new brand ambassador Alexander Herrmann and the new Haier built-in appliance line 6 were presented. Since the IFA, the most important trade fair for electronic appliances, was cancelled, Haier wanted to create its own event to meet journalists and commissioned GOOS COMMUNICATION with the organisation.

The intensive preparation was rewarded with a successful event: Managing Director Thomas Wittling led through an interesting and stimulating programme consisting of a lecture and video presentation, talks with the new brand ambassador and celebrity chef Alexander Herrmann as well as with the Olympic table tennis coach and former world-class player Jörg Roßkopf. Afterwards, the guests were able to experience the brand ambassador in the show kitchen, where he had prepared a small dish for tasting. A walking lunch gave those present the opportunity to talk to each other. And finally, a tour of the new offices and showroom was on the agenda. Those who wanted to could also have a 1:1 conversation with Thomas Wittling. Of course, hygiene and distance were taken into account, in addition to 3G (= vaccinated, recovered or tested).
