Press event: The new headquarters of GRASS in Hohenems

Task: Conceptual design and planning of a press event, preparation of press material, invitation management and on-site support for media representatives, follow-up work.

Goal: With the opening of the new customer and logistics centre in Hohenems, GRASS wanted to set an example for the future. The headquarters in Hohenems is much more than a modern building with impressive technology: it is a big step towards implementing the company's ambitious goals. The transformation of the world's leading specialist for motion systems was to be accompanied by a press event.

GRASS is setting standards with its new logistics centre: 70 million euros were invested in the construction project. 37,800 pallet storage spaces on 22 levels ensure that customers can be supplied with the ordered products flexibly and just in time. In addition to the impressive logistics, the new building also houses an Experience Centre, where visitors can immerse themselves in the world of GRASS on two floors and 500 square metres. A conference area for up to 60 people, showrooms, the Italian Lounge and a show kitchen with panoramic terrace - GRASS makes it possible to experience what modern movement design can achieve in the Experience Center. And all this in an ambience that is architecturally impressive and activates the senses with its sophisticated lighting control without distracting from the actual stars of the exhibition. GRASS is shown in all its facets. One focus will be on the latest product highlights, i.e. the world's narrowest steel frame, Vionaro V8 Slim Drawer System, and the almost invisible Kinvaro T-Slim flap system.

All important trade media on site

In order to publicise the new customer and logistics centre to GRASS' target groups via the media, GOOS Communication was commissioned to design and implement a media event. The motto was "Motivation through change". On 3rd and 4th November, a multifaceted event took place in Austria: While a dinner on the first day of the event provided an opportunity for relaxed exchange, the participants were able to experience the new customer and logistics centre live on the second day. The programme was rounded off by an exciting keynote speech by Global Brand Manager Harald Klüh. 15 media representatives from Germany, Austria and Switzerland took part, including all the important media for trade and industry.
